I chose this video as I was amazed by the stairs which are a major eye-catcher. I have tried to make my stairs above ground similar to this, to emphasize and highlight the artist's walk to the gallery, as elegant and special. This video shows Louis Vuitton's Stairs in Rome and capture the elegance I am after.

Materials and Production Methods
Fiona Hall:
Fiona Hall's "Medicine bundle for the non-born child 1993-94" is an enchanting baby's layette made from recycled Coca-Cola cans. The tiny garments are knitted from strips of aluminum drink cans. Fiona Hall's layette is constructed from an interweaving of different and conflicting narratives and histories about the desire for consumer goods. Fiona's work explores the future of the worlds children.
Rosalie Gascoigne:
Rosalie Gascoigne's "Ensign, 1995" is a retro- reflective road sign on craft board. Gascoigne said that her art- making materials "need to have been open to the weather". Therefore she mostly used materials she found, in this case yellow and orange retro- reflective road signs which flash and glow in the light. Rosalie cut up and re-arranged the faded, naive lettering found on the item to create this abstract yet evocative grids of letters and word fragments.

Week One- Independent Study
Google SketchUp Screenshots:

Chosen Sections:

The SketchUp model is a 3D version of the sections I chose. It incorporates the sketches into a more studio- like representation which allows the sketch to come to life! The top part resembles "complex" with a modern twist and will be made out of concrete/brick/steel. The bottom resembles "expression" and is brightly coloured to encourage the artist as underground can be very dull, this will be made out of concrete and brings character to the studio.
Chosen Sections:
I drew a series of maze like structures to portray the sense of confusion and complexity.

B: Expression
I chose to use alot of sharp jagged edges to express the bottom structure and allow a sense of mystery and curiosity.

A: Creative Work at High School

This was my HSC project. It was a renovation of a relatives home, in desperate need of refurbishment! Not a very good image but it is the only piece of evidence left from the end of school year celebration of burning HSC related material!
B: Great architecture

The 'Versace' House. A remarkable piece of architecture for the wealthy. I'm sure many people would envy this house and lifestyle, as do I. Many famous people have spent the night at this mansion.
