MashUp

MashUp of 3 News Articles

When revelling in power and influence, unseen in decades, desperation and luxury are mortal enemies. Sometimes they fail, as fear and power do not peacefully coexist, aesthetically or otherwise. It follows, then, that they who wish to reach the most rarefied and potent ranks of business, must have certain serenity. There is evidence, that with power and a flat-out disregard for what others think, comes the occasional stroke of luck. Yet their work always transmits the unsentimental feeling of a business: it has its ups and downs. What sets them apart is their disregard -in some cases, their open contempt- for the dictates of business. I cannot in my memory remember a time when they have had more influence, but adaptability, more than anything else, is their gift. Not only is it their moment, it is a level of influence and power, that is literally unprecedented and symbolic to celebrities "twirling" down the red carpet in ethereal Prada-designed Oscar gowns. They variously ennoble a certain above-the-fray quality, just the right street trend; cribbed imaginatively from the ability to push through ambitious plans; which strike notes of erotic fetishism and spiritual contemplation. But one thing their unafraid of is a good fight. And more often than not, they win. If they handle it right, it could be their century!

The Ramp and meeting place were designed to emphasize and portray the importance and dignity of the clients and to make their walk to the meeting place a significant and heroic journey.

Nobel's space has many distinct stairs to emphasize the many stepping stones in his life. The various sized floating blocks portray his many interests and life goals.

Cousteau's space resembles his love of the sea, and gives a floating effect to outline his time on the water. It's open to allow him to feel the emotions and effects he would have felt when boating and diving.

Textures Used

This texture has been manipulated to resemble water. This will be used in Cousteau's space as it resembles his love and life devotion to the sea.

This texture resembles hatching and will be used in Nobel's space as it portrays his many different ideas and interests.

This texture will be used in the meeting place. It looks 3D and resembles the two clients different needs and interests coming together. It shows that in-between them they have a vast number of qualities and expertise.

Client's Space

Developed Unreal Tournament

Cousteau:

Cousteau's space is open and gives a floating effect, to resemble his love of the sea and boats, where he was constantly in fresh air, with the wind in his face. The floating effect resembles him diving into the sea.

Nobel:

Nobel's space is sophisticated and dynamic to portray Nobel's life of being an inventor, engineer and the inventor of dynamite. Therefore I made his space innovative and versatile to allow Nobel's many passions to be utilised to their fullist.
