The Ramp and meeting place were designed to emphasize and portray the importance and dignity of the clients and to make their walk to the meeting place a significant and heroic journey.
Nobel's space has many distinct stairs to emphasize the many stepping stones in his life. The various sized floating blocks portray his many interests and life goals.
Cousteau's space resembles his love of the sea, and gives a floating effect to outline his time on the water. It's open to allow him to feel the emotions and effects he would have felt when boating and diving.
